Friday Night Live continues on the Square | EVENT

The Ben Davis Project
Main Street’s summer concert series continues on August 1st with a night of contemporary Christian music hosted by World Outreach Church.

The free concert is the third in the series of summer concerts held on the Public Square highlighting the talent of local artists throughout Middle Tennessee.

In August three different groups and artists will perform.

Opening the evening is the WOC Celebration Arts Team; a group of talented musicians and vocalists. Members of the team include professional musicians and Dove Award recipients.

Jamie Harvill takes the stage next. An accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Jamie has toured here and abroad with Integrity Music’s Worship International. He also played lead guitar with the Maranatha Praise Band for four years.

Along with several Gold and Platinum recordings to his credit, Jamie and his family live south of Nashville and he runs his own independent publishing company.

To complete the inspirational concert; The Ben Davis Project takes the stage with high-energy music.

Lead singer and guitarist Ben Davis is a Texas native, who now makes his home in Murfreesboro. Along with Murfreesboro natives Travis Walker, Jeff Condit, and Rory White, the band has toured through Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Arkansas; appearing at Disciple Now Weekend, numerous churches and youth camps.

“Friday Night Live should be a good mix and offer different styles of entertainment for our community. Whether country, oldies, Motown or contemporary Christian music, Main Street knows you’ll have a great experience in downtown Murfreesboro on Friday night,” said Richard Gabel, Executive Director of Main Street: Murfreesboro/Rutherford County.

September’s Friday Night Live concert is scheduled for September 5th featuring the music of The Boomers.

In addition to great music, the retail shops, restaurants, and clubs will be open so everyone can stroll the downtown and capture the unique style of Murfreesboro. Downtown Murfreesboro is the place to chill this summer.
