Freed-Hardeman announced county students on Dean’s List

HENDERSON — Freed-Hardeman University has released names of Rutherford County students on the President’s List and Dean’s List for the spring 2014 semester. The President’s List requires a grade point average of 4.0 and full-time status. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must earn a minimum GPA of 3.40 while taking at least 12 credit hours.

Those named to the President’s List were: Anna Hogan, from Murfreesboro, a senior social work major; Meredith McKnight, from Murfreesboro, a freshman arts and humanities major; and Keith Pickard, from Smyrna, a sophomore ministry major.
Students making the Dean’s List were: Abbey Adkins, from Murfreesboro, a senior public relations major; Mallory Bowman, from Murfreesboro, a freshman art major; Hannah Claiborne, from Murfreesboro, a senior biology major; and Morgan Stansell, from Murfreesboro, a freshman biology major.

Freed Hardeman University is a private, four-year university located in Henderson, Tenn. Accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to offer bachelor’s, master’s and education specialist’s degrees, FHU has been consistently listed in the top tier of U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Regional Universities—South” category. The university will begin courses leading to a doctorate in education this fall.
