Frank Edwards, age 80, of Murfreesboro, passed away on September 24, 2012 at NHC National Health Care. He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. Frank worked in construction and was a member of Kings Chapel Baptist Church.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Nat C. and Almedia Swaner Edwards; wife, Betty Ann Edwards; son, Frankie Lee Edwards; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Brewer and Chris Lombard. He is survived by his sons, Billy (Anita) Edwards and Larry Edwards; daughters, Alma (Curtis) Brewer and Jenny (Jerry) Lombard; brothers, Ed Edwards and Henry Edwards; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Calvin Caroll officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
