Former Middle Tennessee golfer Taryn Durham will be a contestant on the 13th season of The Golf Channel's reality series, Big Break. Durham, who graduated in 2008, is the most decorated golfer in Blue Raider history and is currently competing on the Duramed FUTURES Tour.

"It was the experience of a lifetime," said Durham. "It really put my game to the ultimate test and taught me how to handle pressure situations.

Big Break Sandals Resorts will take place at the Greg Norman-designed Emerald Reef Golf Club at Sandals Resort Emerald Bay in The Bahamas. The series, which was filmed in February, will feature a variety of physical and mental challenges with a number of special guest appearances over a span of ten episodes.

"Taryn is the best player to come out of Middle Tennessee," said Blue Raider head coach Chris Adams. "It's exciting to have a player of her caliber representing our school on a national stage, and it's an honor for her to have earned a spot on the show."

Durham earned All-Sun Belt accolades in each of her four seasons for Middle Tennessee and took home low medalist honors in six events. The Glasgow, Ky., native is also the only Blue Raider in history to be named Sun Belt Golfer of the Month twice. Durham currently holds six of the school's top ten single round and a three-round tournament scores, including the school record in each. She also hold the top three two-round tournament scores.

Big Break Sandals Resort will begin airing on The Golf Channel on June 21 at 8 p.m. central time.
