Fresh off a hard-fought overtime win over archrival Oakland, Riverdale plays host Friday night to one of the best teams in the state, ranked No. 1 or 2 depending on the poll, in Knoxville Farragut.
The Admirals are 4-0 after its only close game of the year, an 18-11 win over Knox West last Friday.
Riverdale, ranked No. 5 in the Murphy Fair poll and No. 9 by Associated Press, is 4-1 with the line loss a 28-27 double overtime defeat at the hands of Hendersonville.
Blackman, No. 5 by AP and No. 3 by Fair, plays hosts to Station Camp, 2-2, as the Blaze look to improve on the only spotless 5-0 record in Rutherford County.
Oakland, 3-2 and still ranked in the AP top 10 after two overtime losses, travels to Fayetteville to face winless Lincoln County while Smyrna plays host to tough Ensworth.
Siegel will entertain 1-4 Hillsboro while La Vergne travels to Franklin County.
In Class A Eagleville is at Moore County and MTCS is host to Cannon County.
