FirstBank vice president reappointed as chairman

NASHVILLE – Clark Cummings, FirstBank’s senior vice president and director of risk management, has been reappointed to the position of chairman of the Banking and Financial Services Council for ASIS International.

“I feel privileged to serve another year as ASIS’ Banking and Financial Services Council chairman,” Cummings said. “As chairman, I will continue to represent FirstBank and the banking sector, and will work to ensure that ASIS remains the premier organization for security professionals.”

ASIS International is responsible for educating members on global security issues and strategies, ensuring the security of information and safe practices of corporations internationally. The organization comprises more than 37,000 security professionals in more than 31 industries worldwide.

The Banking and Financial Services Council serves to further inform members specializing in banking and financial industry security, loss prevention, and risk management about current trends and best-business practices specific to their industries. In addition, the Council provides educational programs to help supplement security professionals’ knowledge.
