I looks like the bad guys are arming themselves. Bad times are looming, folks!

These can't be random robberies... who has $45k of jewelry just laying around the house?

By: HuskyLover on 4/1/09
devolver,

You must not be a typical woman. ;-) It only takes 5 or 6 really good pieces of jewelry to rack up a total of $45k.

The robberies mentioned in this article as well as others written recently seem to have a common denominator - the theft of several firearms. I fail to feel much sympathy for the victims since they were obviously irresponsible in leaving that many weapons laying about unsecured.

I must not be a 'typical woman' either - a random burglary at my house would be very disappointing to the thief LOL... I agree with devolver's comment, these sounded like the thieves at least knew these folks had more than the 'typical' amount of valuables/firearms in their homes (not blaming the victims, just saying)
