| 2Cute!, local specialty gift shop and children’s store (2Cute! Kids), is holding a Back to School Charity Fashion Show benefiting Candle Wishes at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 20 at the Stones River Country Club.
“We hope to make the charity fashion show an annual event for moms and daughters to have fun together while making a difference in our community by raising money for a local cause,” said Coreen King, 2Cute! co-owner, “We chose Candle Wishes as the benefiting charity because we believe in the vision to give children in need happy birthdays.”
The evening will include fashion, food, music, school supplies and accessory shopping, shopping for moms, School Survival Kits for moms and daughters, and door prizes. The first 20 attendees will receive a free 2010 student agenda.
Reserve tickets online at 2cuteonline.com or purchase tickets for $5 at the 2Cute! stores located next to Carrabba’s restaurant in Murfreesboro or at the door (limited quantity).
“We are so blessed to have 2Cute! as a community partner. This event will help fund our efforts to fulfill the birthday wishes of needy children, provide for their basic needs, and grow to serve more families in Rutherford County,” said Jenny Williams, Candle Wishes founder and executive director.
Founded in 2002, Candle Wishes is a faith-based, nonprofit organization headquartered in Murfreesboro that fulfills birthday wishes and provides essential needs for underprivileged children in Tennessee, with programs in Rutherford County, Memphis, and Franklin.
Since its inception, Candle Wishes has given thousands of needy children memorable birthday experiences.
