Explore hidden Murfreesboro on Stones River

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation holds its annual Boat Day with the Stones River Watershed Association from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 25 at the Manson Pike Trailhead. 

Volunteers from the Stones River Watershed Association will bring several types of canoes and kayaks for the public to try.

Discover and explore the characteristics and advantages of each craft, boating basics, correct paddling strokes, and boat safety from knowledgeable volunteers.

Boats, personal flotation devices and paddles will be provided. The event is free and all ages are welcome.
