The following reports were on file with the Murfreesboro Police Department:
Monday, May 18, Lisa Evans entered the lobby of the Murfreesboro Police Department and informed officers that she her estranged husband had assaulted her the day before, Sunday, May 17.
Evans told officers that she left a message with her husband’s, Glen Evans, sister to meet her friend Ashley with money so that she could feed their children, ages 10 years old and 16 months old. She walked, with her children, to McDonald’s on the corner of Memorial Boulevard and Northfield Boulevard to meet another friend.
She told officers her estranged husband was waiting at the restaurant when they arrived. Upon leaving, Glen Evans allegedly began calling her by derogatory names, but that she continued to walk the children toward East Kingwood Drive.
Glen Evans then entered the Long John Silver’s located on Memorial. Evans told officers she attempted to leave and return to the McDonald’s where her friend was still present. At this time her estranged husband reportedly exited the restaurant and saw here trying to walk away.
He allegedly grabbed her hair and asked her where she was going. After answering that she was taking the kids for ice cream, Glen Evans allegedly forced her in the direction of her home. Evans said that upon reaching the Subway on Memorial that her husband refused to let her go further and began to verbally and physically abuse her.
Officers reported that Evans had a bruise on her arm and a large knot on her thigh where she was allegedly kicked by her husband. Evans also told officers when she told her husband that she would call the police she was threatened and was too upset to report the incident until the following day.
According to the police report, Evans told officers that she believes there may be outstanding warrants against Glen Evans for violating probation and she intends to obtain warrants and an order of protection against her husband.

Officers were dispatched to 319 W. Lokey Ave. Monday, May 18 in response to a domestic assault that had already occurred.
Kristen Borgen told officers her boyfriend Derrick Cathey had assaulted her before leaving on foot with another man she referred to as “Casper.”
Cathey was allegedly upset with Borgen for working as a stripper and began assaulting her with a bag of trash. Borgen said Cathey then hit her in the face multiple times with his fists and attempted to strangle her. She also stated that she was hit with a pack of cigarettes.
Contact was made with Cathey who told officers the fight began over cigarettes Borgen had bought for him. He told officers he threw the pack of cigarettes into her lap and she began scratching and hitting him. Cathey stated he headbutted her after she began assaulting him.
He also told police that he and Borgen fight time to time, but he does not hit women. Cathey was arrested without incident on suspicion of assault.

Monday, May 18, officers arrived at 610 Bridge Ave in response to an altercation involving two males.
Upon arrive, police discovered Matthew Boyle bleeding from the mouth and nose, extremely disoriented. A witness stated he had been arguing with Ronald York when things began to escalate.
York allegedly hit Boyle in the face with a 40-ounce can of beer and proceeded to jump on top of him and punch him in the face with his fists.
Boyle was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center with a possible concussion. York was placed under arrest for suspicion of aggravated assault and public intoxication.
