Ernest Ray Taylor – age 70, passed away on Thursday, February 04, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Ray was a native of Rutherford County and veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was also a self-employed contractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wesley and Ethel Edwards Taylor. Ray is survived by three sons, Carl (Betsy) Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN, Wendell Taylor and Jeff Taylor both of Murfreesboro, TN; and one sister, Sarah (Wallace) Reed of Smyrna, TN; Ray is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Graveside Service for Ray will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221 with Rev. Brent Wills officiating.
