Q Help! I’m starting to look like a Bassett Hound. What can I do about these droopy eyelids?
As we age, skin becomes more lax and like everything else, move's south. We can improve this without injections or surgery with a procedure we've been doing for years - our fabulous Titan. So is Titan for you? If your lids are drooping, eye make-up seems to "cake", or you have to pull the lid up to simply apply make-up - this procedure is for you. There is no down time, and "Titan eyes" takes less than one hour per month for 3 months. Call today, if you are a current client (meaning you have been seen within the last 12 months) you do not need a consultation. Call to schedule.
Maybe if the Titans could win, we'd give a discount on the Titan...hmmmm
Q I’m starting to notice signs of aging on my face but I’m too young for plastic surgery. Can you help me?
Have you heard of the Non-surgical face lift? Until recently, a surgical face lift would have been your only option. With the arrival of Botox and dermal fillers, you can rejuvenate your aging face during an office visit. The areas we can help you with include frownlines and brows, crow’s feet, cheekbone area, nasolabial folds, lips and jawline. We invite you to take advantage of these treatments in a simple procedure with minimal discomfort and little or no down time. The equilibrium team always customizes your treatments to specifically enhance your features. Contact us for a private consultation.
Q I have a girlfriend who has a facial with a chemical peel each month. Is it really necessary and what are the side effects from chemical peels?
Time intervals for facials & chemical peels are as unique as the faces we treat. Equilibrium offers weekly chemical peel packages for 6 weeks for acne breakouts & scarring, however, we recommend anti-aging facials with chemical peels once every 4-6 weeks. The chemicals used for our peels range in purpose as well as strength. How a client responds to a chemical peel is also unique. If a client has never had a peel, we may use a lower strength and increase with subsequent treatments. Equilibrium uses what we call "controlled peels", therefore - most of the peeling should occur during the treatment, therefore there is no social downtime following most chemical peels. Stronger peels for faster results, or more damage - such as TcA or Jessner peels produce a higher rate of skin cell turnover, therefore - more peeling. Clients love peels because of the refreshed glowing look of the skin.
