Elsie Florence Davis Diem, age 85 of Smyrna, Tenn., formerly of Mt. Ephraim, N.J., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clarence James and Elsie Springer Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Albert Diem Sr. who died in 2008, and by nine brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Diem is survived by her son, Walter Albert Diem Jr. of Pueblo, Colo.; daughter, Carol Manaugh and her husband Gregory of Smyrna; foster children, Nancy Cerbo of Elmer, N.J., and Joe Fisbeck of Clementon, N.J.; brothers, Warren Davis of Pennsylvania and Tommy Davis of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Pastor Corey Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Diem was a retired Administrative Assistant with the New Jersey Water Company.
