|Mrs. Eleanor Hrabar Peoples, age 88, passed away in her sleep early Tuesday, August 7, 2012, following a wonderful life. She was born in Fords, N.J., to Laslo and Julia Hrabar on March 31, 1924.
Mrs. Peoples lived in La Vergne and Murfreesboro, TN for the past several years and attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Smyrna. She devoted her entire life to her family and was a respected member of the Smyrna Senior Center before she moved to Boulevard Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Murfreesboro.
Everyone at Boulevard loved Mrs. Peoples, where the staff called her “Mama” and everyone else called her “my best friend.”
Mrs. Peoples is survived by her son, Richard M. Peoples Sr., and his wife Linda, of La Vergne, grandchildren: Richie Peoples of Nashville, Stephanie Wiley of Murfreesboro, Cyndi Jones and her husband Corey, of Cape Coral, FLa., Hillary Stephens and her Husband, Curtis of Smyrna, great-grandchildren: Conner Peoples, Hannah Wiley, Mason Wiley, Abigail Jones, and Summer Stephens.
Visitation will be 4:00PM to 7:00PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with a Rosary at 7:00PM with Father Jacob Dio officiating. Funeral service and will be at Gerity Funeral Home in Woodbridge, NJ with burial to follow in Clover Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
Family and friends are encouraged to come celebrate the life of this amazing woman with a true heart of gold. Her devotion, love and friendship will be forever treasured by everyone who knew her.
