MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- On Sunday, Feb. 23, the Middle Tennessee State University Concert Chorale and Middle Tennessee Choral Society will present "Echoes from a Cathedral," a sacred music concert featuring works by renowned classical composers as well as an American folk hymn.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. in Hinton Music Hall inside the Wright Music Building on the MTSU campus.
Among the artists who will be featured are Ludwig van Beethoven, George Frideric Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. An American folk hymn by Mack Wilberg will also be performed.
Alice Matlock Clements, a 2001 vocal performance MTSU alumna, professional singer and vocal teacher will also perform as a featured soloist.
Tickets for the performance are $10 for general admission, $9 for senior citizens, and $8 for children 12 years old and younger. MTSU students will be admitted free with valid identification card.
Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the performance.
