Hop into Spring with Easter Egg Hunts.

Celebrate with an eggs-cellent Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at Richard Siegel Soccer Park on Cherry Lane.

This is a free service of the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department, and includes numerous egg hunts.

Activities include age appropriate egg hunts all afternoon, carnival games and a final visit by the Easter Bunny before he fills the baskets on Sunday.  Swap eggs for prizes at our "eggs-change" booth.

The event is free and open to all ages.  

New Hope Lutheran Church also sponsors a community Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Murfreesboro Boys and Girls Club, 820 Jones Blvd.

 The event begins with a short "child friendly" worship service, followed by crafts, face painting and the Easter egg hunt for children age 10 and under.
