Two Eagleville high school students were arrested today for forcibly fondling and harassing a schoolmate on a Rutherford County school bus.

A15-year-old girl reported two class mates, a 17-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy, had grabbed her breasts and buttocks and taunted her in a sexual manner on the school bus between Jan. 9 and Jan. 15. The incidents were reported Tuesday, when the students returned from a long weekend.

Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans said the boys have been sent to Daniel McKee Alternative School and are permanently banned from riding the bus.

Evans said the bus is not equipped with surveillance cameras.

“It may not have made a difference but it would have assisted in enhancing the investigation,” he said, adding there was plenty of evidence in the case.

According to the police report filed at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, the older boy allegedly exposed himself to the victim and sent her pictures of his genitals via text message.

He admitted to touching the girl’s buttocks.

“He also said he exposed his penis on the bus to urinate in a bottle,” School Resource Officer Rick Wooten reported.

The victim said the boy left himself exposed for most of the bus ride home and never actually peed in the bottle.

On another occasion, the boy exposed himself to the victim “for one to two minutes while taunting (the victim) to look at him,” Wooten wrote.

On several different days, both boys taunted the victim about exposing her breasts, saying they wouldn’t tell anyone if she showed them.

A court date for the suspects has not been yet.
