A cell phone repair shop is now open at Textbook Brokers at 225 N. Rutherford Blvd., Suite L.

First Class Cell Repair serves all brands of cell phones but specializes in iPhones and screen repair. Problems with smart phones like the Android and other touch screen phones can be repaired as well. A 90-day warranty is offered on all parts and repairs.

The company, owned by Textbook Broker owner Robert Batcheller, stocks a large number of parts so most repairs can be done while the customer waits.

“We feel that there is definitely a demand for quality repair service in Murfreesboro,” said Luke Barber, manager of First Class Cell Repair. “If you do not have insurance on your phone or if your warranty has run out, typically you would be out of luck if you had a major problem with your phone.  We offer all cell phone repair related services to keep customers from having to buy new phones when they have issues.”

First Class Cell Repair also has a phone buyback program where the company pays cash for used phones.

Hours of operation are currently Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Hours will change with the bookstore during peak times for university book sales and buy backs.

For more information, call 396-8044 or visit www.firstclasscellrepair.com.

Appointments are accepted but not required.

Mary Esther Reed, owner of The Learning Circle, the South Church Street educational supplies retail store, has been selected for the cover of nationally distributed trade magazine, Educational Dealer.

The featured article, entitled “All the Right Moves”, was authored by Anya Harris and explores Reed’s aggressive changes to The Learning Circle since she acquired the store in 2002.

“During the interview with Anya, I started thinking about how these past few years have just flown by,” Reed explains. “The move from Memorial to South Church Street seemed to happen so fast, but it was good to sit down and assess where we’ve come from and to start thinking again about where we’re going

“All the Right Moves” explores Reed’s aggressive marketing strategy to assist long-time Learning Circle customers to feel comfortable about the store’s new location and to attract new audiences that would find the new location more accessible and convenient.

Reed was surprised when she was asked to be interviewed for a feature article. According to its website, the magazine reaches 6,500 school supply buyers in its print edition. The article also appears online at EdDealerMagazine.com.

While the magazine is not generally available at retail outlets, the article can be found online at EdDealerMagazine.com.
