Doyle Burnett, age 57, of the Barfield Community, passed away on January 23, 2010 at The Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville. He was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County. He worked the assembly line at Pro Craft and was a veteran.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Eugene Burnett and Ocie Alberta Burnett and brother, James Owen Burnett. He is survived by his son, Jason Burnett of Murfreesboro; brother, Bobby (Marcee) Burnett of Barfield; sisters, Betty (Danny) Elliott of Murfreesboro and Jerrie (Robert) Goins of Murfreesboro, four nephews, Johnny Brinkley, Bobby Burnett Jr., Michael Burnett and Troy Burnett; niece, Angie McGregor.
A chapel service for Doyle will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. James Lassiter officiating. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S. Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. (615) 893-2422 www.jenningsandayers.com |
