Douglas Perry, age 77, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Adams Place Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and a member of Milton Church of Christ. Douglas was a self-employed carpenter.
Douglas was preceded in death by wife Lila Gale Perry; parents, Beecher and Carline Whitworth Perry; brother, Dennis Perry and granddaughter, Leslie Seaton. He is survived by his sons, Lewis (Betsy) Perry of Murfreesboro, Gaylon Perry of Lascassas and Kevin (Amanda) Perry of Beech Grove; daughter, Diane Robinson of Murfreesboro; sisters, Susan Barnes and Becky McClary; brothers, Charles Perry and Don Perry; grandchildren, Amy Seaton, Morgan Robinson, Brent Perry, Kimberly Wells, McKayla Perry, John Douglas Perry, Kathryn Perry, Hannah Perry and Kristen Perry; great-grand children, Jonah Wells, Anna Grace Wells, Lila Clair Wells and Jayden Perry.
Funeral service for Mr. Perry will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Jennings & Ayers with Bro. Teb Batey officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
