The Doubletree Hotel Murfreesboro is seeking local charities to be recipients of over 175 television sets previously used in the hotel’s guest rooms and suites. The hotel recently replaced all of its 27-inch televisions with new cutting edge, 37-inch LG LCD flat screen televisions.

So far, sets have been donated to the Room at the Inn shelter, the Domestic Violence Shelter and Habitat for Humanity.

“We are excited about our new flat screen televisions, and we want to share our excitement with the community by donating our older sets to organizations who need them,” said Pam Little, Director of Sales at the Doubletree. “The TVs are in good working order, and we will be glad to deliver them to organizations who request them while they last.”

If you know of a charitable organization or support group who would like to receive the Doubletree televisions, please contact Ms. Little at 615-895-5555 or email her at plittle@cooperhotels.com.
