Hilton Worldwide recently honored Philip Stafford, a banquet employee at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels in Murfreesboro, with the Spirit of Care Award for his excellent performance.
This award designates Stafford as a top performer within DoubleTree hotels. Less than 1 percent of all team members nationwide ever receive this honor annually. Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the award team members continually exceed expectations of both customers and fellow staff.
“Stafford continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of his work at the hotel,” said Sandra Miller, the general manager of the DoubleTree in Murfreesboro.
Since March 2012, Stafford has been employed as a banquet server in the hotel catering facility.
