The District 7-AAA softball tournament starts Friday at Oakland High School.

Defending district champion Riverdale, the No. 1 seed, faces No.8 White County 2 p.m. Friday. No. 4 Siegel faces No. 5 Oakland 4 p.m. Friday. No. 2 Lebanon battles No. 7 Warren County 6 p.m., and No. 3 Blackman battles No. 6 Cookeville 8 p.m. Friday.

The Riverdale-White County loser plays the Siegel-Oakland loser noon Saturday. The Oakland-Siegel loser plays the Blackman-Cookeville loser 2 p.m. Saturday.

The quarterfinals start 4 p.m. Saturday with the Riverdale-White County winner playing the Siegel-Oakland winner. At 6 p.m. Saturday the Lebanon-Warren County winner faces the Blackman-Cookeville winner.

The title game is 5 p.m. Wednesday.
