Wasn't the missing toddlers father from Smyrna an illegal alien also? So now, we have an illegal alien murdered probably by another illegal alien and the taxpayers will end up footing the bill once again. We need to secure the borders, have law enforcement raid the construction sites, fine the developers who are employing the illegal aliens to do the roofing and brickwork, then deport them. They should also publish the names of those developers in the newspaper who are caught having illegal aliens working at their job sites.

Have you heard anything about us not having any borders to patrol? Rumor is that government officials are speculating we could be the North American Union uniting all three countries, including Canada and Mexico. It might work though I'd hate to lose the United States name. No more problems with the borders though. It might keep them in their own country if we helped with the economics there. I always wondered why we had not taken over the country anyway.

So now, we have an illegal alien murdered probably by another illegal alien and the taxpayers will end up footing the bill once again.Because the taxpayers don't foot the bill when a *citizen* kills another *citizen* in this county, do they? Nope. Can you say DA's office, public defender's office, jury expenses, judge's salary, etc.? All tax-funded. And how in the world are you making any connection to the little missing girl's daddy? Is he missing now, too?
For heaven's sake, y'all, don't turn EVERYTHING into a "get them dang illegals out" argument. Show a little compassion. He's lying in the morgue and his family doesn't know what's happened to him. The Post is simply trying to share information from the police so they can resolve this case and get some justice for the fellow, no matter where he's originally from.

grandefille,
"Citizens" usually pay into the 'tax funded' services they may use. Illegals, not so much.

We'd like to thank The Murfreesboro Post for running the photograph of the murdered man. Other media haven't.
Yet if we cannot get this victim's picture out to the public in general and the Hispanic community in particular we won't be able to identify him. Without his identity, it will be hard to mount a succcessful investigation barring a break in terms of forensic evidence.
Thanks again to the Post.

If he's unidentified and nobody knows what happened to him, how do you know he's an illegal?

Tennessee courts are supposed to fund themselves by collecting court taxes, fines, fees and commissions, but if those collections don't cover operating costs, the county/city supplements the budget from its general fund.
Residents who buy gas, food, cigarettes, etc., and drive vehicles all contribute to the tax base from which courts are partially funded. We could make the same argument ("'Citizens' usually pay into the 'tax-funded' services they may use. Illegals, not so much") against college students and other non-property owners who don't make much money.
Again, this isn't about "illegals" and it isn't about who pays for what. It's about a man who was murdered and trying to solve the case so his family will have some justice. If you want to start providing local services according to tax-based contributions, let's see who's been paying the full annual cost of their kids going 12 years to school in this county, of the roads that have been taking you to and from work, of the emergency personnel that protect you and your family.

Woo boy. Did my one little comment get you all worked up, grandefille? LOL!
More people pay into the tax base via property taxes and such than those who don't. College students usually have parents that pay into it as well. Renters have landlords that pay tax, probably on multiple properties, too. I've been in Rutherford County as a property tax paying land owner for 36 years now so I guess I've paid for quite a few of these new roads around here.

"No one has reported a matching subject missing and his fingerprints do not show up in any database. It is possible he is not in this country legally."
Thanks again to the Post.

How firm are you on protecting Illegal Crime?
Are you willing to have you're name in a Public directory for those in favor of protecting them to insure their right for soft punishment or less than what the reset of the citizens of the US require when they committ crimes? That way as long as their crimes are aginst those in the directory they will recieve the soft punishment.
