Dermatology practice opens in The Gateway

Dr. Ronald ‘Junior’ Nelson, has officially opened Stones River Dermatology in The Gateway at 1608 Williams Dr., Suite 200 in the Waterstone Professional Building overlooking the Greenway Art Pavilion.

To celebrate this opening the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Ribbon Cutting at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30.

Additionally, the public is welcome to attend the Open House from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day at the practice.

Refreshments and door prizes will be provided and Dr.

Nelson and his staff will be available to answer questions and give tours of the facility.

“We couldn’t be more excited about our new practice. The response from the community and our patients has been both overwhelming and humbling. This ribbon cutting and open house are our way of presenting ourselves to the community and thanking our loyal patients and referring medical professionals – we look forward to seeing everyone,” Nelson said.

Nelson is a Board Certified Dermatologist, graduate of Vanderbilt and Stanford Universities and a former Air Force Flight Surgeon.

Nelson, his wife Laura and their daughter make their home in Murfreesboro.

“The Chamber really appreciates businesses like Stones River Dermatology opening their doors to the public and allowing us to hold a ribbon cutting there. Dr. Nelson and his staff have been a delight to work with,” Kelli Beam, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce membership director said.

Stones River Dermatology provides Cosmetic, General, Geriatric, and Pediatric Dermatology services as well as Skin Cancer Surgery.
