I'm glad Demos' is doing well and I wish them continued success. However, I've never been impressed with the quality of the food. It was good...just nothing special. Prices are fair and serving portions are generous. The place is clean and you get good service, especially when Doris is there.
Although not impressed with the food, the political comments made during the Bible Park fiasco sealed it for me. Never alienate your customers, Mr. Demos!

I think it was very funny when people said they would never eat there again because of the Bible park thing. Every time I have been in there, last time being Monday night, they were on a wait...who is on a wait in Murfreesboro on monday night! Looked like business was doing very well. I dont think he alienated many people. Just people who dont agree with people who dont agree with them.

Trust me...I haven't been back and won't go back ever. Yes, I know that's a long time! But it's more because the food is just not that great. Okay, but nothing special...and I can get nothing special at any drive-thru in town for less $$ and less wait time.

I just moved here from Houston. Everyone said I had to eat at Demos. Tried it, not anything to write home about. Won't go back. I don't understand why so many people go there? Probably because of the low prices. Give me Longhorn steakhouse instead!

The opinions expressed above, both pro and con, are a tribute to Peter - not Jim and Doris. I plan on going tonight simply for the nostalgia.
