Debrah Medley Johnson, age 53, of Smyrna, formerly of Dry Ridge, Ky., died Jan. 1, 2013.

She was a native of Atlanta, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert David Johnson; parents, George William Meldey and Barbara Throneberry Woodroof.

Mrs. Johnson was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Crystal Diviney, of Clarksville, Jessica Handley and her husband, Chris, of Murfreesboro, Rebecca Johnson, of Smyrna, and Brittany Johnson, Brandy Johnson, Erica Scroggins and her husband, Chris, all of Kentucky.

She is also survived by grandchildren Cassandra, Drake, Kenzi, Bella, Brenden, Addy, Andrew and Warren;  sisters Diane Hall and her husband, Ricky, of Shelbyville, Melissa Woodroof, of Murfreesboro, Denise York of Adams, Tenn.; brothers Steve Medley, of Murfreesboro, Kevin Woodroof and his wife, Cathy, of Smyrna; grandfather Wayne Curtis Woodroof, of Murfreesboro; and grandmother, Martha Tolar, of Shelbyville.

A family service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro.
