Deborah Gene Pavatte, age 64, passed away on Thursday February 11, 2010 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, following an extended illness. She was born February 9, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the late Ivan Eugene Pavatte and Martha Gertrude Waldron Pavatte. In addition to her parents, Ms Pavatte was preceded in death by a nephew, Derek Pavatte and a sister Sue Ellen Pavatte.
Ms Pavatte is survived by brothers, Donald E. Pavatte of McMinnville, TN, Dale Pavatte of Winchester, TN and Drew W. Travis of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Sarah C. Maynard of Smyrna, TN, and Emma McWilliams of Collinwood, TN; nephews, Justin Pavatte, Roger Smith, and Ryan McWilliams; nieces, Rebecca Smith, Rianna McWilliams, and Rylee McWilliams.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday February 14, 2010 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with David Waldron officiating. Interment will be in Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna.
Ms. Pavatte was a member of the LaVergne Church of Christ and also served in the United States Air Force. Memorials may be made to Freed-Hardeman University, Jon Gary and Betty Williams Endowment Scholarship Fund, 158 E. Main Str., Henderson, TN 38340 in memory of Ms. Pavatte.
