Dave M. Hearn Jr., age 90, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a teacher and administrator of Metro Public Schools and was a member of the Bellwood Church of Christ. He was a native of Talladega County, AL but resided in Rutherford County, TN.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; Dave Morris and Essie Arkansas Wilkerson Hearn. He was survived by his wife, Evelyn D. Hearn, son, Phillip (Patricia) Hearn and grandchildren; Joshua, Cory and Shellie Hearn.

Services for Dave will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Billy Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
