Daniel Howard Funnell, age 79, of Murfreesboro, passed away on February 23, 2010 at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville. He was a native of Ontario, Canada but resided in Murfreesboro. He was retired after working as a salesman with Machine Tool and Die Industry.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Robert and Ruth Lowrey Funnell. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Peter Funnell of Los Angeles, California and Daniel Robert Funnell of Oregon; daughter, Laura Beth Funnell of Georgia; brothers, George Funnell, Norman Funnell and Bill Funnell all of Toronto, Canada and Ken Funnell of California; sisters, Eileen Funnell and Ada Funnell both of Toronto, Canada; and five grandchildren, Miranda, AJ, Alli, Will and Lucas.
Memorial service for Daniel will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Larry Nobles officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S. Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. (615) 893-2422 www.jenningsandayers.com
