Culver's restaurant headed to The Avenue

A Culver’s Restaurant is headed to The Avenue.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission recently approved plans for the restaurant. The 4,000-square-foot restaurant will be located at the front of Belk at the corner of Medical Center Parkway and Maple Grove Drive.

This will be the first Culver’s restaurant in Tennessee. The restaurant specializes in ButterBurgers and frozen custard.

ButterBurgers are all-natural and made from fresh, never frozen 100 percent U.S. beef, seared on a hot grill and served on a buttered, lightly toasted bun, according to the company.

A representative from the company couldn’t be reached for comment on the timeline for construction of the restaurant.
