Critically acclaimed author J.T. Ellison will be speaking about her heart-pounding thriller books at Smyrna Library on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Ellison is the author of several books that follow Nashville homicide lieutenant Taylor Jackson as she cracks the city’s most twisted cases. Ellison’s latest book Judas Kiss, finds Taylor Jackson investigating a high profile murder case where the only witness is the victim’s toddler-aged daughter. By spending time researching with Nashville Metro Police and the FBI, Ellison has been able to craft an authentic forensic thriller.

J.T. Ellison’s books have garnered favorable praise from publications such as Romantic Times, Library Journal, and Publishers Weekly. Publishers Weekly called Ellison’s latest book an “impressive and arresting thriller.”

Not only is Nashville the location for her books, it is also her home. Before moving to Nashville to concentrate on writing, Ellison had a career in Washington DC working for the White House and the Department of Commerce.

The author talk will be held at Smyrna Public Library in the conference room on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1p.m. Smyrna Library is located at 400 Enon Springs Road West. This event is free and open to the public.
