Murfreesboro resident Jonathan P. Riding, 21, was arrested Nov. 11 on suspicion of stealing more than $5,000 worth of prescription drugs from Walgreens Pharmacy on Old Fort Parkway.
He has been charged with robbery, felony theft and possession of a Schedule II drug, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department arrest report.
He was booked on a $24,000 bond, and he is scheduled to appear Dec. 7 in General Sessions Court.
Woman accused of statutory rape
A 21-year-old Murfreesboro woman was arrested on suspicion of statutory rape Nov. 14, after police conducted a search at a home on East Clark Street.
Police apprehended Pedro C. Osorio, who had an active warrant out for her arrest. She is being held without bond at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department arrest report.
A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
Contractors accused of theft
A woman reported Nov. 11 that she discovered more than $500 worth of prescription drugs had been taken from her Leanna Road home, after three contractors she had hired for a remodeling project never returned to complete the job.
The three suspects were hired to lay carpet in a bedroom and living room, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department incident report. After finishing the bedroom, the men left and never came back.
The suspects are described as three Hispanic males, who are based out of the Murfreesboro area. |
