A Cornelius Drive home sustained more than $450 in damage Friday when an unknown number of suspects shot BB guns at the residence, only weeks after it had been egged.

Most of the damage occurred near the area of the front door of the home, where police found several small holes in the vinyl siding, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department incident report filed by Officer Andrew Graves.

The woman who lives at the home was not able to provide police with any information regarding possible suspects, and the investigation continues.

Seay already had an outstanding warrant out of Bedford County for failing to appear in court and another warrant from Davidson County for failing to be booked, a criminal charge that is issued when a defendant does not appear to be booked on a misdemeanor citation.

Seay was held on a $2,000 bond at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear Jan. 30 in General Sessions Court.

Midland man facing multiple charges

Mark D. Moore, 23, has been charged with burglary to an automobile, misdemeanor theft and public intoxication, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department arrest report filed by Officer Joshua Borel.

According to an MPD incident report, Borel observed Moore standing beside a vehicle that had papers scattered about and the glove compartment had been opened. After speaking with the owner of the car, it was learned a silver camera was missing. Borel then searched Moore and found the camera in his jacket pocket, at which point he was taken into custody.

Moore was transported to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and charged accordingly. He is scheduled to appear April 3 in General Sessions Court.
