The facility is already getting rave reviews regarding its welcoming campus and memory care services, but now Creekside at Three Rivers Assisted Living with Memory Care has taken a giant leap forward in establishing 24/4 nursing services.

“We are very proud and excited to welcome Lisa Walters as our new director of resident care,” said Claudia Harris, director of marketing. “The addition of this healthcare professional means that Creekside is an around-the-clock-service assisted living facility, a factor that makes our facility truly one of the best in Middle Tennessee.”

A native of Banner, Miss., Walters first gravitated to Shelbyville to study medical training, which led to her graduation from Tennessee Technology Center with a Practical Nursing Degree.

“Lisa specializes in geriatrics, plus she has additional Alzheimer and Dementia training and IV certification. This expertise, along with her five years of skilled nursing experience, promotes Creekside to an even higher level of care for our residents,” Harris said.

Walters already has the reputation of being a dedicated health care professional with a strong passion for her work.

“Lisa loves caring for people, and she enjoys taking on the challenges of an ever-changing medical field," Harris added. "She has a quote to which she ascribes as she cares for the elderly:  ‘The beginning of life has endless potential for success, yet the success of life lies within the quality of one’s life toward the end.’”

Walters is married to her high school sweetheart, Robert Walters, and they have two daughters, Kelsey, 13, and Anna, 2, plus a son, Daniel, 3.
