Rutherford County Director of Schools Don Odom will be the featured speaker at the Murfreesboro Noon Exchange Club meeting at noon on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Stones River Country Club.
The community is welcome to attend this meeting, which includes lunch. The cost to attend is $15, and can be paid at the door.
Odom, who began his post as director in July, will provide an overview of the Rutherford County school system and talk about his goals and future plans for the district, which consistently ranks among the best in Tennessee and has outpaced national rankings on a number of measures.
The Exchange Club comprises men and women working together to make the community a better place to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
