The Rutherford Neighborhood Alliance holds a public meeting on the Community Vision and Planning for the Future from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in room B of the Patterson Park Community Center.
Regional Planning Director Doug Demosi will speak about the creation of a comprehensive plan that will form a new policy foundation for all planning in the entire unincorporated county.
The plan, to be created by professional consultants with community input, will allow the community to prepare for change rather than react to it.
The presentation by Demosi will be followed by a period of questions and answers.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
