The next meeting of the Middle Tennessee CWRT will be at 7 PM on Tuesday January 19, 2010. We will meet at the Heritage Center of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County (225 West College Street in Murfreesboro).
We will be discussing the book, Company Aytch by Samuel Watkins. Watkins memoir of his Civil War experiences is one of the most quoted veteran accounts of the conflict. We will examine this work and discover what insights it still offers to a student of the Civil War.
The Middle Tennessee Civil War Round Table meets every third Tuesday of the month at the Heritage Center of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Membership applications are available at each meeting. Membership costs $15 per year for individuals and $20 for families. All meetings are open to the public regardless of membership status. Each meeting will include time for interested parties to share stories and memorabilia from the Civil War era with the membership.
