MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The Murfreesboro Rotary Club will hold its 11th annual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro.

Santa Claus will be there for children, along with live music.

Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased from any club member or at the door.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Rotary Club.

Proceeds are used to help fund initiatives by groups like the American Red Cross, Murfreesboro Center for the Arts, and many others. Club members provide volunteers for Red Cross blood drives, trash pickup on the Lytle Creek Greenway, Meals on Wheels deliveries, Special Olympics events, Salvation Army fundraising, and Uncle Dave Macon Days activities.
