Cobb resigns house seat for new job | State, General Assembly, Election, Curt Cobb

State Rep. Curt Cobb
The Shelbyville Times-Gazette is reporting that state Rep. Curt Cobb has resigned his post in the legislature to serve as Bedford County’s new Clerk and Master.

Since 2002, Cobb has represented parts of Bedford, Marshall and Rutherford counties, including the town of Eagleville.

A special election will be held to fill Cobb’s vacated seat.
