Clara W. Bond, age 90, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Feb. 22, 2013 at her home.

She was a native of Rutherford County and lived in Florida most of her life. Clara was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a homemaker.
 
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Dowl and Bernice McBroom Williams; husband, Harvey Bond; brothers, Johnny Williams and Maurice Williams; and sisters, Gladys Uselton, Jean DeClue and Era Bowling. She is survived by her sons, Dowl Bond of Florida and Glenn Bond of Texas; brother, JC Williams of Readyville; sisters, Ethel Carter of Chattanooga, Rachel Arnette of Murfreesboro, Lois Stapleton of Florida; and three grandchildren.
 
Chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with John Risse officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
