The City of Murfreesboro will hold a development community meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, located at 111 W. Vine Street, to discuss process changes and to gain feedback from its customers in the development community concerning the City’s development services.

The meeting will be an opportunity for all members for the development community, including designers, architects, engineers, landscape architects, planners, homebuilders, commercial contractors, and real estate professionals to seek guidance on building permits, plan reviews, and inspections and to in turn provide feedback regarding the City’s planning and permitting review process.

City Manager Rob Lyons believes hosting the event will work towards the City’s objective of providing excellent services with a focus on customer service.

“The City is providing important information for the development community,” Lyons said. “We are proud to host this event in an effort to maintain our existing relationships with the development community and to build new ones.”

The City’s administration and development services departments will staff the event to address changes to the process and hold an open dialogue session. Community members are encouraged to attend this interactive, outreach session.

Please RSVP to Kenya Tigg at ktigg@murfreesborotn.gov.
