City parks change hours for wintertime

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation made the switch to its winter hours, which will last from November until February.

Barfield Crescent Park, McKnight Park, Old Fort Park, Richard Siegel Park, McFadden grounds, Paterson Park grounds and SportsCom grounds will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Cannonsburgh Village and the Gateway Island will be open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Bark Park, Jaycees Mini-Park, Murfree Spring Wetlands, Oaklands Park, Rogers Park, Walter Hill Park, West View Mini-Park and the Murfreesboro Greenway System will be open for day use only, meaning these parks open at daylight and close 30 minutes before dark.
