Pam Russell has joined the City of Murfreesboro as Assistant Human Resources Director.
Originally from Ohio, she now lives in Murfreesboro with her husband and son. She is a military veteran, having served with the United States Army. She most recently served as Human Resources Manager for Haru Holdings, a subsidiary of Nissan where she managed employee relations, staffing and benefits administration for multi-site operations and managed safety training within two facilities including overseeing an active safety committee devoted to enforcing safety and security throughout each, among other duties.
Russell has 12 years experience in human resources management. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Human Relations at Trevecca of Nazarene College in 2006.
She is currently Vice President of Programs at the Stones River Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. Pam lives in Murfreesboro with her husband Lorenzo and 15-year-old son Sammy.
Russell says she looks forward to joining the city.
“I look forward to coming on board,” she said, “and bringing along my expertise. I’m excited about the opportunity.”
Murfreesboro Human Resources Director Glen Godwin agreed.
“We are very excited to have Pam join our team,” he said.
