Choral Society Presents Holiday Concert
The Middle Tennessee Choral Society and MTSU Concert Chorale will perform Handel’s "Messiah" at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 and 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 at Hinton Hall in MTSU’s Wright Music Building.
Under the baton of Raphael Bundage, director of choral music at the university, the combined choirs will sing segments of the world’s best-known choral work in what has become an annual tradition between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Advanced vocal students at MTSU will be featured in the recitative and aria solos from the "Messiah". Included are Brooke Hazen, Jennifer Fincher, Wesley Suitt, Derek Meler, Zack Jarrell, Alex Favazza, Maria Fleming, Micah Johnson, Tyler Bates, Robert Sobieralski, Scott Willis, Amanda Smith, Fain Watson, Charley Talley, Maura Flanagan, Justin Nelson, Hollye Bynum, Sarah Jackson, Sarah Wofford, and Evie Robinson, plus guest bass Paul Roarck.
Ticket prices at the door are: adults $10, seniors 65 and older $9, children 12 and under $8 and university students free. |
