A Children’s Fair is a special addition to this year’s Uncle Dave Macon Days festival.

“It is going to be really great,” said Gloria Christy, festival director, adding that the Children’s Fair will give families more activities to do at the annual festival.

Uncle Dave Macon Days, a celebration of old-time music and dance, is July 10-12 at Cannonsburgh Pioneer Village.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is sponsoring a musical petting zoo, which will allow children to have hands on experience with a variety of musical instruments, she said.

Proceeds from the children’s activities will go towards Uncle Dave Macon Days.

Fun Services, a Nashville owned and operated company which has the largest selection of inflatable rides, carnival games and concessions, is bringing the Children’s Fair to the 32nd Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days Festival.

“We are excited to be adding to the weekend with a special area dedicated to active fun for children,” said Noel Gicewicz of Fun Services.

Inflatable rides, carnival games and some tasty concessions will be available for purchase during this family oriented event. A shaded seating area will be offered.

Concessions include cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, frozen lemonade, a hot dog bar and fresh roasted peanuts.
