Charline Compton Manus, age 98, of Murfreesboro, passed away on October 5, 2012 at Northside Nursing Center.She was a native of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Ms. Manus was preceded in death by her husband, the late Clark Rayburn Manus, her parents, Charlie and Ida McCullough Compton, son, Fred Manus, grandchild, Fredie Manus, brother, Howard Compton and  sisters, Lucy Mai Spradley and Irene Holder. She is survived by sister,  Nannie Sue Parker  of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 
Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Jimmy Jernigan officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
