Charlie Garrison, age 90, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on June 21, 2010 at Good Samaritan of Daytona.
He was a native of Honaker, Kentucky but lived all over the United States as a minister. He served in WWII in the United States Army.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Garrison and Catherine Lawson Garrison; wife, Rebecca Garrison in 2008; brothers, Mart Garrison and Dewey Garrison; and one sister, Maye Moore. He is survived by his sons, Ollie (Sammye) Garrison of Murfreesboro, Kenneth (Diane) Garrison of Georgia and Delmer (Patsy) Garrison of Texas; daughters, Geraldine Dewitt of Florida, Uvonnia (Jim) Redinhour of Clinton, TN and Wilma Ferrell of Georgia; sisters, Betty Jo Bush and Tennessee Rowe both of Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Charlie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Coleman Cemetery with Joe Woodside officiating.
