Charles S. "Steve" Sparks, age 65, of Murfreesboro, TN went home to be with the Lord on October, 26, 2012. Born in Ripley, Ohio, Mr. Sparks, served in the US Air Force and worked 25 years in Home improvements in Indianapolis, IN.

He was a born again Christian, serving in the bus ministry for over sixteen years, and a former Deacon. He was a member of the Barfield Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Mack Sparks and sister, Norma Lee Jones. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lynne (Beste) Sparks, sons; Michael (Tracy) Sparks, Arkansas, Craig (Charla) Sparks, Indiana and daughters; Jennifer (Greg) Earle, Indiana and Julie (Kirk) Peters, Murfreesboro. Eleven grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Mother, Edna Sparks, Ohio, brothers; Jeff (Linda) Sparks, Ohio, Mark Sparks (Ohio) and sister, Karen (David) Conway, Florida.

The service for Steve will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Barfield Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Byers and Rev. Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30,2012 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130 and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Barfield Baptist Church.
