The Tennessee Small Business Development Center is sponsoring a Small Business Tax Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 19, at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber is located at 3050 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro.

This free workshop is designed to provide new business owners with an overview of tax issues and federal tax law requirements. Topics will include filing requirements, basic recordkeeping, business expense deductions, self-employment and related tax issues.
